MD SP694 (Multitube with Dielectric Armour (FRP))

Characteristics & Applications

This cable is used for direct bureied installation. It features excellent rodent protection, exceptional pulling force and superior crush resistance.
Its inner sheath allows indoor installation by removing the outer HDPE sheath.
It contains upt ot 6 tubes with up to 12 fibres per tubes.

Nexans fibre cable MD can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.

For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).

Installation

• Set cutter blade at 2.00 mm
• Cut and remove the outer sheath for a minimum of 10 cm to access the ripcord
• Remove the outer sheath using ripcord
• Cut FRP armour
• Once stripped you have a LSZH-FR cable
• Set cutter blade at 1 mm
• Cut and remove inner sheath

1. 6 gel filled tubes containing up to 12 individually coloured fibres

4. Flame retardant halogen free inner sheath
5. Dielectric armour (Flat FRP)
